A Live Performance Audio Workshop … October 21, 2017


– MUSICIANS of ALL Levels – SINGER SONGWRITERS and BANDS – Spend a day with 2 of Spokane’s recognized live performance audio pros. Sound engineers Ken Glastre and Pat Cantlon will present a 1 day audio workshop on Saturday, October 21st from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm at Indie Air Radio.  

Whether you or someone else is running your sound this hands-on workshop will provide you with a number of tools which will raise your confidence and your performance level. PA systems including EQ, effects processing, microphones (types, technique, placement) and other audio toys will all be covered. Typical sound reinforcement pitfalls will also be discussed.

Drum Circle Workshop … November 4, 2017

From 6 years old to 96+, all ages are welcome even if you have never picked up a percussion instrument before. Experienced percussionists are welcomed as well.

Spend 2 hrs with Hawke Robinson in this hands on workshop Saturday, November 4th, from 1 pm – 3 pm at Indie Air Radio.

Over 50 percussion instruments, including some adapted for people with disabilities, will be available. The RPG (Role Playing Game) Research Volunteer Core Team will be assisting Hawke in helping participants learn the basics of drum circle participation and some introductory level facilitation techniques.

The workshop is limited to 35 participants. Admission is by donation with all proceeds going to the Wheelchair Friendly RPG Trailer GoFundMe campaign.
